Thoughts of Modesty

I've not had breasts, or moobs, very long, but it's long enough, I think, to formulate a few thoughts about how I present myself in my new, larger, top-heavy, self.

I'm very self-conscious about my naked chest, which perhaps drives my approach to both underwear and outer clothing.
I find it almost impossible to have my naked chest exposed even around the house.

As regards covering my breasts there's a balance between comfort, support and coverage.
Comfort is in the construction of the cups where I need some padding to reduce the itching and sensitivity, but also in the edges of the cups and the side panels, so they don't dig into my armpits.
Support is the foremost reason why I've resorted to wearing a bra - to reduce, or eliminate, the extremely unpleasant sensations from movement of breast tissue. Bras can support in two ways - from the band around the chest, or from wires under & around the breasts
Different bra styles give different coverage - full coverage and sports bras bras cover all the breast, down to demi-cup styles that leave the tip of the breast exposed.

My first preference is for an old-school full coverage bra, and these give me excellent support but tend to be a little uncomfortable because my breasts don't fully fill the top part of the cups. I also find that the band will become rather uncomfortable towards the end of the day (which might just be a familiarity thing).

The best compromise, giving excellent comfort and good support, are the underwired Demi-Cup bras from Marks & Spencer. They do reveal more chest than I really like, but it's acceptable (if a little chilly!).

I've a faint hope that if my breast fill out a bit more then I can move to wearing the full coverage granny bras much more.
